William Haas Home

Add to plan Remove from plan

(c. 1892)
The Haas family was one of the first families in the city to enjoy the luxury of electricity. Mr. Haas owned a dry goods store on North Main Street. The home features triangular shaped scales which adorn a front gable. Matching sunburst designs are exhibited over a second-story dormer and an entrance porch. An open-air turret adorns the spindled wrap-around porch.
