Leslie and Ryder White opened Whistle Hill in 2004 with a desire to bring good food to good people. After a very successful 12 years, the business was forced to move locations just outside of town. With family-wide dedication, this unstoppable force relocated back to the heart of Weatherford, Texas. Just off Main Street now, and again serving the good people of Weatherford with their favorite homemade soups, quiche, desserts and the tastiest lunch choices in the south.

We are so excited that Whistle Hill is back again with a slightly longer title and a new additional hand in ownership. Whistle Hill's Downtown Cafe has adopted its new title to signify their new beginnings with their additional breakfast menu and their new business partner, their eldest son, Paxton. Paxton graduated from the University of North Texas in the Spring of 2016 with majors in Hospitality Management, Business Finance, and English Literature. After graduation, he headed back to his hometown to start a family of his own and join his parents in the restaurant business.

Since the opening of Whistle Hill's Downtown Cafe in July of 2017, Paxton and family have won Dessert Chef of the Year, Parker County's Top Chef and they aren't stopping there! Please, come join the family!
