W. S. Fant Home

Add to plan Remove from plan

(c. 1890)
Built for local banker W. S. Fant, this Greek Revival style house is typical of the homes that were built along the southern coast of the United States. It features a raised front porch with balanced columns. Elongated windows, a dominate feature in southern coastal homes, were used for entrance and exit between various rooms and the front porch. Major renovations following a 2007 fire have restored the beauty of this home.
