(c. 1895) Railroad service to Weatherford provided a new option in commercial construction - iron clad facades. Decorative and strong, iron posts, as seen in this storefront, supported large glass display windows. Freear Furniture and Undertakers was an early occupant of this structure built by W. E. Tate. For seven decades, the building hosted a hardware business, Brown-Milburn Hardware, then its successors, Milburn Hardware and Malone Hardware. The structure was renovated in 2000 for offices that feature original wood floors.
