First United Methodist Church

Add to plan Remove from plan

(c. 1891)
Designed by Weatherford architect, George Godfrey, this Victorian Gothic limestone edifice has never been altered since its completion in 1891. Of special interest are the Norman-English bell tower, and the 55-foot-high beaded tongue-in-groove sanctuary ceiling laid in a herringbone pattern. (THL)
